◆制作技法 / Technique
古代より続くロストワックス（蝋型鋳造）技法を基に、蝋（ワックス）を手彫りしてひとつひとつ丁寧に造形。
紀元前の文明でも用いられたこの手法を受け継ぎ、繊細な造形と唯一無二のフォルムを実現するウェアラブルアート。

Based on the ancient lost-wax casting technique, each piece is hand-carved from wax to create its original form.
This method, used since ancient civilizations, allows for intricate shapes and truly one-of-a-kind forms.

◆コンセプト / Concept
Joumon――縄文土器、とくに火焔型土器からインスピレーションを受けた一本。
縄文シリーズの第一作として制作。
制作中は、縄文人たちはどんな想いで土器を形作ったのか、想像しながら彫り進めていった。
彼らの心は、現代の私たちが驚くほど豊かだったのではないか──。
そんな敬意とリスペクトを込めて生まれた現代の造形表現。

Joumon — inspired by Jomon pottery, particularly the iconic flame-style vessels.
This is the first piece in an ongoing Jomon series.
While carving, I couldn’t help but imagine what the Jomon people were thinking as they created their vessels thousands of years ago.
Their hearts must have been incredibly rich and imaginative to produce such designs.
With deep respect to them, this piece invites us to reflect on the richness of life—then and now.
